Shipping was fast, packaging could be better. The hitch had a little plastic wrapped around it and was loose in a box. The paint on the end of my receiver hitch is chipped off which I understand its a hunk of steel that is gonna get beat up anyway but I’d like to be the one to beat it up ya know. Other than that it seems very well built and the rest of the painted finish is nice.

I needed a ball hitch on my Kubota L tractor in order to tow my 2000 lb. commercial grade wood chipper through my hilly forest. I looked at some cheap solutions (less than $100) but they didn’t seem up to the task. Heavy Hitch seemed bullet proof, so I ordered a super duty hitch.
1. The 2″ receiver tube makes it flexible for a variety of uses.
2. The 3/8″ welded on chain hook will see much use for towing.
3. The safety chain hook loops are a great feature
4. I’ll be buying some suitcase weights that mount on this hitch
5. Available in matching Kubota orange.
6. Built in the USA with domestic materials.
7. Expedited shipping resulted in 3-day delivery.

Just received my “Standard” hitch. Very well built but make sure if you want a 3/8 chain hook, you order the “Super Duty”. The standard doesn’t have a hook. Apparently, I’m the only one that didn’t catch that. My bad!

I bought the Super Duty for my JD X585 last year. Extremely impressed with the workmanship and design. Had consider the Titan, but after reading about some of their poor weld techniques I opted to go with the Heavy Hitch. I don’t regret paying more at all. This is super solid and very versatile. Just ordered the cart today so I don’t have to keep removing the weights to take the drawbar off.

As my wife says, you get what you pay for!!!
A week ago I ruined a titan hitch while pulling a sod ripper thru sand and small roots. The titan twisted and bent to the point welds failed, and the hitch tube bent bad.
Today I used the HH weight bar/hitch pulling the same ripper, and removed 50+ bush stumps and roots, mind you it didn’t even scratch the paint. I even broke a shear bolt on the ripper shaft. Now that was some torque!!
Now if you’re thinking like I was, a year ago, they’re all the same, save yourself some money!! Buy American made and get great quality. Or you can do what I did, and spend money on others and later you’ll be smart and buy the great stuff.
I will NEVER look to anything but HH for my attachments, my wife agrees with this decision also.

I have considered buying this hitch for a while, as if it would be as good of quality as my John Deere! Well let me tell you, I just got this and the build quality is better than John Deere’s quality. And if you’re thinking about buying this, just push the buy button and you will not be disappointed on quality or the usefulness of this hitch. And it’s built here in the USA.

A year-and-a-half into use with this hitch receiver (Super Duty version) on my Deere 1025R and I haven’t yet found a single thing about it that isn’t perfect. Eight Deere 42lb suitcase weights fit perfectly. I use this with a 2” ball hitch to move my trailer around the property and couple it with the Heavy Hitch attachment to carry the big trash cans from the barn to the curb. When I need to use the 3-point / iMatch, it’s easy to offload and set aside. This is one of the best accessories I own for my tractor. Highly recommend.
