Purchased this as an inexpensive trencher for my hobby farm. If you have hard packed, dry ground, only do 2″-4″ per pass. I would imagine with sandier soils you could go a lot deeper. Took me about an hour and a half to trench 250′ to my barn for a subpanel. Great product, great customer service. Thank you.
