Randy –
They don’t wear our from grinding on pavement, but the cast puck breaks off way too easily. I’ve broken off two of them in the past two years from mild residential plowing. Won’t buy again.

Randy,
Thank you for your feedback. Where is the cast breaking? Is the stem breaking? We have not gotten this feedback before so just want to make sure we can address it.
Thanks,
Shannon

These skid shoes are amazing! Very high quality. Nice and heavy, fit perfectly and the design is simple and effective.
Worth every penny!

These are not cheap but worth the money. Others sell round skid shoes for much less but they don’t last like these will making Heavy Hitch skid shoes cheaper in the long run. Like dad always said “buy the best and cry only once”. Just be sure to buy 2 as they are sold individually. The Heavy hitch folks are great to deal with and sell the best aftermarket products out there. Much better than OEM.

Those shoes are fantastic quality and they don’t dig in anywhere near as much is the John Deere runner/skids. After plowing two times only the paint has wore off the shoes and looks like there are going to last a long time and are worth every penny.
