Tooth Bar + {{mpg_tractormake}} Review

"I used [my toothbar] last week to clear some brush to get at some firewood. WOW, this thing ripped out the brush and helped me get the wood to the fire. This thing is a serious beast! I cannot think of why I would ever remove it. Excellent product. If we ever get invaded by space aliens I’ll just go at them with these teeth. They will scurry away like rats! Good job Heavy-Hitch."

How they work together

The heavy-duty tooth bar is designed to increase the bucket capacity and digging performance of your tractor. With a 5/16″ Allen wrench, it’s easily installed to your front end loader with 5/8″ set screws in each tooth shank. The teeth are replaceable, and the tooth bar works with standard material buckets with a cutter bar up to 1/2″.

{{mpg_tractormake}} tractors are built for comfort and durability. When you add our tooth bar to the bucket on your {{mpg_tractormake}} {{mpg_tractormodel}}, you’ve upgraded to a machine that can do anything.

How to measure for a toothbar

  1. Measure the inside width of your bucket. This will determine what width you will need.
  2. Measure the height of your cutting edge. This Standard Tooth Bar will fit on a cutting edge of up to 1/2″. If your cutting edge is 5/8″-3/4″, you will need our Heavy Duty Tooth Bar.

How durable is a toothbar and will it bend my bucket?

Tooth bars are manufactured by a variety of companies at different thicknesses, using different grades of steel. Some customers have been concerned about the wear and tear of bucket teeth metal on concrete surfaces, or their buckets unable to support larger loads, potentially bending their buckets.

This is one reason Heavy Hitch has become a stand-out alternative, as seen in an online tour of their factory in Winona, Minnesota (see video).

“We have nothing to hide,” said Schell. Our steel is made in America and built to last. In fact, we distinguish ourselves from our competitors. Our steel tool bar blades last 3 or 4 times longer than most standard tool bars.”

"I have it on a Kubota B2920. I am very happy with the purchase. I am moving big piles of clay with wood pieces. Wouldn’t be able to to it with the standard bucket."
